Brother Brentwood

It takes more to belong to a motorcycle club than filling out paperwork, paying dues, and putting on a patch. You have to be committed and support the club. You have to ride out of state on occasion. The members of a club become family. You do all you can to help your family. If your club member needs help, you need to be there without hesitation, worry, or fear--just do it. Always have your brother's back. It takes time and money, but you need to be ready, willing and able to do whatever it takes. That's why most people don't want to be part of a motorcycle club. They don't want to be committed or give the time. We don't want wannabe's, patch collectors, or people lacking commitment. We want brothers we can depend on who are willing to do for the club whatever needs to be done. If you aren't ready and willing to do this, don't sign up. Don't start to prospect and hope you will slide in because you will not be accepted. Don't waste your time or our's.

Remember the members of this club have something special. Not many Americans can be part of this club. We are an elite class of Veterans. We served our country when it wasn't very popular to do so! It didn't matter if we were in-country, supporting, or serving wherever our government wanted us. We did it with pride and commitment. I believe that is why the members of this club support the military 100%. We've been there, done that. We understand what the soldiers are going through. We pledge NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have them feel what we felt. When you wear the patch, you represent all of us. GIVE RESPECT AND GET RESPECT. Be an ass and get treated like an asshole. We are committed to the brotherhood of the VOVMC and ride for those who can't. Ride safe and be proud of who you are! We are looking for more Brothers so if you would like to join us..just click the Join Up Here page. We need to remember our Vietnam Brothers... Brother Wolf

Region 4 Quarter News

Oct, Nov, Dec, Quarterly News Letter

This will be my first attempt to write a Quarterly News Letter. It's hard enough remembering what I have to do the next day, but I'll try.

October is one of the best months of the year to get out and ride the beautiful mountains of the Appalachians. Not to warm and not to cool, just right.

The "Mountain Thunder Rescue Run" is scheduled for October 13th at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, TN. This is a motorcycle ride and show to benefit area animal shelters and disable veterans, not quite sure how we got matched up with an animal shelter, but it should turn out to be a good ride.

October 20th Rolling Thunder is having a bike show and ride, all proceeds go to local veterans in this area. October 27th we will be having our annual "Halloween Party". The place and time is to be announced.

November 6th remember to vote. November 9th we are attending a "Veteran's Day" Ceremony and flag raising at the VA Center Mountain Home. November 11th, Happy Veterans Day to all the VoVMC. November 16th we are riding to Nashville, TN to see Jamey Johnson at the Ryman. It should be a great show. Nov. 22nd, Happy Thanksgiving, give thanks to all Veterans you know that have made our country safe and free.

December 6th thru the 15th we are offering free haircuts to the veterans at the VA Nursing Home and on December 15th we are attending "Wreaths Across America" to be held at the Mountain Home VA. This is an annual event that is held simultaneously across America each year, at National cemeteries.

Tuesday December 25th - "Merry Christmas to All"

Monday December 31st - "Happy New Years Eve to All"

Ride Safe and ride when you can.

Feb 2012 VoVMC Region 4 News

The EasyRiders 2012 Bike Show Tour kicks off this month in Knoxville, TN at the Convention Center Saturday February 4th. The weather, so far this winter, has been pretty good for riding, so there should be a good turn out for this event.

We are in the early stages of planning our ride to D.C. for the "Run for the Wall" event in May. At present we have ten members who have made their reservations. We are staying at the Hilton in Crystal City, VA. This year is the 25th anniversay of Rolling Thunder's "Demonstration". This will be the 10th year in a row that I have attended. It is a good tool to help with those of us who continue to struggle with "Post Tramatic Stress Disorder".

Bro Dinky Dau has signed up a new prospect and 2 support members down in Alabama and we have a new prospect in Tennessee and Ohio, as well as a new support member in Tennessee.

Ride safe and Ride when you can!
