It takes more to belong to a motorcycle club than filling out paperwork, paying dues, and putting on a patch. You have to be committed and support the club. You have to ride out of state on occasion. The members of a club become family. You do all you can to help your family. If your club member needs help, you need to be there without hesitation, worry, or fear--just do it. Always have your brother's back. It takes time and money, but you need to be ready, willing and able to do whatever it takes. That's why most people don't want to be part of a motorcycle club. They don't want to be committed or give the time. We don't want wannabe's, patch collectors, or people lacking commitment. We want brothers we can depend on who are willing to do for the club whatever needs to be done. If you aren't ready and willing to do this, don't sign up. Don't start to prospect and hope you will slide in because you will not be accepted. Don't waste your time or our's.
Remember the members of this club have something special. Not many Americans can be part of this club. We are an elite class of Veterans. We served our country when it wasn't very popular to do so! It didn't matter if we were in-country, supporting, or serving wherever our government wanted us. We did it with pride and commitment. I believe that is why the members of this club support the military 100%. We've been there, done that. We understand what the soldiers are going through. We pledge NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have them feel what we felt. When you wear the patch, you represent all of us. GIVE RESPECT AND GET RESPECT. Be an ass and get treated like an asshole. We are committed to the brotherhood of the VOVMC and ride for those who can't. Ride safe and be proud of who you are! We are looking for more Brothers so if you would like to join us..just click the Join Up Here page. We need to remember our Vietnam Brothers... Brother Wolf

There are not very many events gong on at the present time. We are still going to the "Mountain Home" VA where we have some lady volunteers giving haircuts and manicures to all the Veterans that would like them from the Veterans of Vietnam MC. The Vets seem to really enjoy this and it makes them feel much better about themselves.
Bro Eway is recovering from 3 bypass heart surgery. He seems to be feeling much better and is recuperating at his home. His first meal once he was released from the Asheville VA Hospital was Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. I am not sure that is exactly what the Doctor ordered but, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
We are having Harley Doc a Birthday Party January 7th. He will be turning 68 years young on January 10th. Bro Dinky Dau is still doing a great job down in Alabama! and as always, Ride safe and ride when you can.
Membership dues should be paid by the end of the January.
Region 4 December News
2011 has been a great year for the Veterans of Vietnam MC. We are looking forward to an even better 2012. We have the "Bernie Green Toy Run" coming up Sunday December 4th ending at the Gray Reserve Center. It is always great to see the faces of the children receiving their Christmas gifts.
December 10th we are participating at the Mountain Home VA Cemetery for the "Wreaths Across America". The Wreaths are laid each year simultaneously at all National Cemetery's across the United States. Let's not forget our annual Christmas Party being held at members Nino and L'Nino's home. It is always a very large time with lots of good food and spirits.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the Brothers and Sisters of the VoVMC! Ride safe and ride when you can.

Region 4 Nov. News
The riding hours are getting a little shorter in Region 4 as the winter approaches. We do have a couple of rides planned. The 20th annual "Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Run" will be held Sunday November 6th starting in Morristown, TN. We are scheduled to attend the opening ceremony for the Johnson City, TN "Veterans Memorial" on Veterans Day. It has taken almost three years for the memorial to be completed. "Happy Veterans Day" to all and hoping all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ride safe and ride when you can.
Region 4 October News Letter
Hanging out at Myrtle Beach for the "Fall Bike Week". Bro Marble, E-Way, Sister Pomala, and C'Wood, as well as Cappy and his woman Kristie, are all having a good time.
The weather is beautiful but just a little cool. Bro Dinky Dau and the Alabama Chapter are at "Thunder Beach" in Panama City, FL. also taking a little R&R.
The Tri-Cities MC is having a "Cow Chip" benefit on the 8Th of October. You can become a big winner if the cow craps in your square. Our annual "VoVMC Fall Party" will be held by our support members Nino and El' Nino on October 29th.
Have a Happy Halloween. Ride safe and ride when you can.

Region 4 September News...
Warm days and cool nights make September one of the best months of the year for riding in the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains. "Thunder in the Smokies" will be held in Maggie Valley September 9th - 11th. The Vietnam Veteran's of America help sponsor this event. The following weekend is the "Rally in the Valley" in Maggie Valley. This event is the one that the VoVMC attend yearly. We should have 20 plus members turning out for this event this year. It is both my birthday and C'wood's on September 17th and we enjoy celebrating it at Maggie Valley.
Ride safe everyone, and remember, "You can be killed just as dead in an unjustified war as you can in one protecting you own home"
